For the best speed, ALLO recommends connecting your devices to the 5Ghz network. If you don’t see the 5Ghz network in your list of available WiFi networks:
- Your service was installed after June of 2018, and your wireless network may have been set up with our unified settings (meaning that you will see one network name, but it is for both the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz), so your device will join the network it prefers, automatically.
- It is also possible that your device may not support 5Ghz technology or 500Mbps speed.
