Sharing Your Wi-Fi with the ALLOIQ App

Gone are the days of digging around behind the router or reading out long, complicated Wi-Fi passwords! With Share Wi-Fi in ALLOIQ, you can connect friends and family to your network in seconds using a quick scan or a simple text message.

How to Share Your Wi-Fi

Option 1: Quick Connect with a QR Code (Fastest!)

1. Open the ALLOIQ app and tap Share Wi-Fi right on your home screen.
2. Select the network you want to share (such as your Guest Network or home Wi-Fi).
3. A QR code will appear on your phone screen.
4. Have your guest open the camera app on their smartphone and point it at your screen—they’ll see a prompt to connect instantly!

Option 2: Send via Text Message

1. From the home screen, tap Share Wi-Fi.
2. Select the network you want to share and tap Share.
3. Choose your text messaging app and pick the friend or family member you want to send it to.
4. They’ll receive a message with the network name and password so they can easily connect.

Helpful Tip for Guests

We recommend sharing your Guest Network when friends or visitors stop by. It lets them enjoy fast internet while keeping your personal home devices (like smart TVs, printers, and computers) private and secure!
