The Devices screen in ALLOIQ gives you full control over every gadget connected to your home Wi-Fi—from smartphones and laptops to smart TVs, gaming consoles, and smart home appliances.
What You Can Do
- See What’s Connected: View a complete, organized list of all active and previously connected devices on your network.
- Check Connection Health at a Glance:
- 🟢 Green (Healthy): Strong connection and operating smoothly.
- 🟡 Yellow (Attention Needed): Weak Wi-Fi signal or performance issue.
- 🔴 Red (Offline): The device is currently disconnected or turned off.
- Personalize Device Names: Give devices clear, recognizable names (like “Living Room TV” or “Sam’s Laptop”) instead of confusing factory model numbers.
- Assign Devices to Family Members: Link devices to specific people in your home to make screen time and parental controls effortless.
- Pause the Internet: Instantly pause internet access on any device with a single tap.
Quick How-To Guides
Connecting a New Device to Wi-Fi
- Option A: Using Your Wi-Fi Password
- Open ALLOIQ and tap Devices at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the + (plus) icon to view your Wi-Fi name and password.
- On your device, open Wi-Fi settings and select your network using the displayed password.
- Option B: Using WPS (Push-Button Pairing)

- In the Devices section, tap the + (plus) icon.
- Tap Connect to start a 2-minute pairing window.
- Press the WPS button or enable WPS on your device to pair automatically.
Renaming a Device & Choosing an Icon
- Tap Devices in the bottom menu and select the device you want to update.
- Tap the three dots (menu icon) in the upper corner and tap Edit Details.
- Type a friendly name under Device Name and pick the matching Device Type (e.g., Phone, Gaming Console, Smart TV).
- Tap Save.
Assigning a Device to a Person
- Select the device from your Devices list.
- Tap Assign to Person.
- Choose the family member’s profile from the list and tap Save.
(To change or remove an assignment later, tap Modify).
Pausing or Resuming Internet on a Device
- Select the device from your Devices list.
- Tap the three dots (menu icon).
- Tap Pause Internet to pause access immediately, or tap Unpause Internet to turn it back on.
Helpful Tip: Unfamiliar Device Names?
Many smart devices (like smart bulbs, streaming sticks, or security sensors) initially appear with technical names or manufacturer chip numbers rather than brand names. If you see a name you don’t recognize, checking the device type or toggling its Wi-Fi off and on can help identify it so you can rename it!
